When to raise the error correction level
A QR code can rebuild parts of itself. A higher level means the code still scans after it gets scratched, smudged, or has a logo placed on top — at the cost of a busier pattern. For anything printed, mounted on a sign, or branded with a logo, use High or Highest. Medium is fine for on-screen use.
Wi-Fi codes
Enter the network name and password and guests can join by scanning, without typing anything. Most modern phones recognise this format straight from the camera. Remember the password sits inside the code as plain text, so don't post a Wi-Fi QR in public unless it's a guest network.
Sizing for print
1024 px is enough for any print job. As a rule of thumb, keep the printed code at least 2 × 2 cm with clear white space around it. For codes scanned from a distance, allow roughly 10 cm of width per metre of scanning distance.

Do these QR codes expire?
No. The data is encoded directly into the image rather than stored on our server, so the code keeps working forever and does not depend on this site staying online.
Is there a watermark?
No. The output is clean and you are free to use it commercially.
How much text can a QR code hold?
Several hundred characters, depending on the error correction level. If generation fails, shorten the text or lower the correction level.
Can I change the link later?
Not with a static code like this. If you need an editable destination, point the QR at a short link you control and change where that link redirects.
